Unlike a standard drum adsorber, the PFM-24 is designed for the moderate pressures (up to 74 psi) associated with Marine Industrial applications. The APT-16PF filter has a maximum flow rate of 16 GPM. Higher flow rates can be achieved by connecting additional units in parallel. The APT-16PF will remove over 90% of total hydrocarbons in a single pass, i.e., cleans 15 ppm discharge to less than 2 ppm. Lower outlet levels can be achieved by connecting units in a series. The instantaneous adsorption cartridges in the APT-16PF are completely disposable. They will adsorb up to 250% of its own weight.
